HEAT EXCHANGER TEST UNIT

The He II heat exchanger test unit is being proposed to investigate the feasibility of the He II heat exchanger arranged externally for the LHC/IR inner triplet quadrupole magnets. This exchanger will be tested at CERN for its vacuum pumping capability.

The following table lists the milestones according to the Memorandum of Understanding on Accelerator Mechanical Safety.
